Copeland to Attend 2024 AHR Expo, focus on sustainable climate solutions and energy management

ST. LOUIS, January 17, 2024 — Copeland, a global provider of sustainable climate solutions, announced it will participate in the 2024 AHR Expo from January 22 to 24 at McCormick Place in Chicago. It will be Copeland’s first presence at a large North American industry show as a stand-alone company following its split last year from Emerson and investment from Blackstone.

To reintroduce Copeland at the show, the company will hold a press conference featuring remarks by CEO Ross B. Shuster on Tuesday, January 23, at 8 a.m. CST in the Expo Media Center. The event will reveal how Copeland is now uniquely positioned to help navigate industry and environmental challenges by accelerating innovation and delivering a broad range of sustainable climate solutions.

Copeland will showcase industry-leading technology that is helping to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency in spaces of all sizes, from residential to commercial to industrial. Copeland’s booth (#S7110) will highlight the company’s HVACR technologies, electronics and controls in the following areas:

Heat pump solutions
Sustainable buildings
Lower GWP solutions
Energy management

Among the featured products will include Copeland’s oil-free centrifugal compressor with Aero-lift™ bearing technology, a low-complexity solution that delivers high performance, designed to increase efficiency in chiller applications with lower-GWP refrigerants. Also featured is Copeland’s CC200 case controller, an AHR Innovations Awards Finalist. The CC200 controller is specifically designed to handle the unique challenges of today’s retail grocery refrigeration environments.

Copeland also will lead several educational sessions at AHR.

Jennifer Butsch, director of regulatory affairs, will join the AHR Expo Panel Series for “Southwest Regional Update: Refrigerants, Regulation and More” at location E350 on Monday, January 22, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. CST. This discussion will cover refrigerant and regulation updates concerning the Southwest U.S. region, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), trends, practices, equipment, and current and future projections in the area.
Copeland’s Dustin Blackstone, senior technical trainer — educational services, will speak on “A Contractor’s Guide to Emerging Refrigerants” at location S405a on Tuesday, January 23, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. CST. This session will cover how to navigate emerging refrigerants and review best practices for their selection, servicing, and use.
